BE PREPARED TO BE SCARED!
On The Safe Side A monthly safety message from the Wasaga Beach Fire Department, proudly working with our community to keep residents safe, informed, and prepared.

Three days of blues, sunshine and great music… Wasaga Beach Steve officially had the blues—and loved every minute of it! Says... September in Wasaga: less traffic, fewer crowds and only slightly fewer people asking, “Is the beach still open?” October is here! Time to put away the beach towels and get out the sweaters. Election signs are popping up everywhere. At least they're easier to spot than the potholes. Fall in Wasaga Beach: cool mornings, warm afternoons and everyone arguing about whether the furnace should be turned on yet.
The rodeo was in town. Two days of horses, excitement and people discovering they have absolutely no idea how cowboys stay on those things. The Rodeo & Fall Festival is proof that in Wasaga Beach, we don't need summer to have a good time. Election season is the one time of year when everyone seems to know exactly how to fix everything. With the election approaching, Steve has one piece of advice: do your homework before you mark your homework. The best thing about fall? You can finally wear a jacket without someone saying, “Isn't it a little early?”
The leaves are starting to fall… and so are the excuses for not raking them.
Fall is nature's way of saying, “Here, have some free decorations.”
Steve Says: Vote for whoever you want… just don't blame me for your choice!
I love fall in Wasaga Beach. You get all the beauty of autumn without having to shovel anything… yet.
Nothing says autumn like a crisp morning, colourful leaves and someone asking, “Did you turn the heat on?”
October is a great month in Wasaga Beach. Warm days, cool nights and absolutely no shortage of things to complain about.
There are lots of signs around town these days. Some are advertising candidates, others are reminding us that Halloween is coming.
