Joining them are council members, representatives from the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, and others who worked together to make this creative, collaborative project happen. This new school will meet the decades-old need for a high school in Wasaga Beach. The province embraced and applauded the project when originally presented, and now, after months of hard work and dedication, one of the largest school projects ever approved by the province, with funding of $57.7 million, is moving forward. The plan is to have the new school open by 2027,
creating a true community hub beside the new Wasaga Stars Arena and Wasaga Beach Library, offering a 300-seat community theatre, postsecondary school education, daycare, and much more. See the full story on Page 3
