RURAL SURVEYORS Due to an increasing workload, Adkin have opportunities to join the team in their highly respected firm. We are open to applications

from those recently qualified but are also very interested in those more experienced including Associate/Director level.

Based in the attractive village of Ardington in South Oxfordshire, their dedicated team offer an array of services including agricultural, commercial and residential disciplines, and therefore a wide variety of work and clients is attained. The main focus of the role(s) will be professional work including valuations.

Many of their clients have been with them for generations, something they are very proud of, and a testament to the reputation and expertise of the firm and their ability to move with the times. They work for a diverse range of clients with interesting and demanding

requirements. Whilst the majority are based in central southern England, they increasingly act for farmers landowners nationwide.

ROLE REQUIRMENTS • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered

Surveyors ideally with Registered Valuer status.

• Fellowship of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers is preferable but not essential and they would be very willing to support those looking to gain this qualification.

ADDITIONAL Adkin has seen another very successful twelve months in both the sale of development land and the progression of

promotion agreements. Land they marketed in 2021 included a site for 268 houses in Liverpool, sites for 4,200 and 150 in Oxfordshire, and a potential new settlement for 3,000 houses in Bedfordshire.

At the smaller end of the scale, they successfully marketed land including a site comprising 12 units in Hampshire, 5 units in Oxfordshire and a single plot close to the Ridgeway on the Berkshire Downs.

They are advising on over 3,000 acres of development land either in agreements or with terms agreed with an estimated Gross Development Value of circa £80 billion.
