Pumpkin Competition 27th and 28th October 2018

Is yours the heaviest or best carved pumpkin?

The Pavilion, St. Aidan’s Allotments, Nicholas Lane, St. George, Bristol. BS5 8TY.

Heaviest Pumpkin Competition Free to enter.

Open to all.

Pumpkins to be submitted to the Pavilion between 5.30pm and 8.00pm Friday 26th October or 08.30am and 9.30am Saturday 27th October 2018.

Judges will weigh pumpkins after closure of entry times.

Exhibitor’s details must be submitted on an entry card provided and placed alongside your exhibit.

Please include the variety of your pumpkin if known on a separate slip alongside your entry.

Pumpkins will be judged on weight.

All exhibits must be home grown without exception.

The judge’s decision will be final.

Viewing open as follows.

Saturday 27th October 10.30 to 12.30pm.

Sunday 28th October 9.30am to 12.00pm.

Prize giving to the winner will take place at 12.00pm Sunday 28th October.

Winner receives £10.

All exhibits must remain in place until 12.30pm Sunday 28th October and removed by 1.00pm on the same day.

Any not removed will be disposed of at the discretion of Bristol East Allotments Association.

Lights may be used to enhance your design, however only battery powered types will be accepted.
