Sustainable Procurement Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all purchases and procurements made by Be-Ge Seating AB are sustainable and ethical, actively contributing to a more sustainable future.
Scope
This policy applies to all departments and employees within Be-Ge Seating AB involved in procurement processes.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the requirements which all suppliers must comply with.

1. To reduce environmental impact by prioritizing sustainable and eco-friendly products and services.
2. To support suppliers that respect human rights and operate under fair labour conditions.
3. To promote local and regional economies by choosing local suppliers whenever possible.
4. To encourage innovation and sustainable solutions by collaborating with suppliers who share our values.
Principles
1. Environmental Consideration - We will prioritize products and services that have minimal negative impact on the environment, including but not limited to:
» Recycled and recyclable materials.
» Energy-efficient products and services.
» Suppliers that hold environmental certifications (e.g., ISO 14001).
2. Social Responsibility - We will select suppliers that:
» Respect and protect human rights.
» Offer fair labour conditions and wages.
» Have policies to combat discrimination and promote diversity.
3. Economic Sustainability - We strive to:

Implementation
» The Procurement Department is responsible for implementing and monitoring this policy.
» Training and guidance will be provided for all employees involved in the procurement process.
» Regular evaluations of suppliers will be conducted to ensure they meet our sustainability criteria.
Monitoring and Reporting
» An annual report will be compiled to assess how well we have achieved our sustainability goals and to identify areas for improvement.
Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
