When my parents decided to tell me that I could not live out my dreams of becoming a tattoo artist, I had to find another way to pursue a creative career. VC became the perfect fit. This major has pushed me to become a better artist, designer, and creative than I could have ever dreamt. It has pushed me to find my style, one that is unique to me. As of late, a lot of my work follows a futuristic Brutalism aesthetic. I’ve always been drawn to the more edgy things in life, like snowboarding and motocross. It is only natural that my work is often inspired by these interests that are connected to Brutalism design.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve ridden GNU boards. I redesigned their snowboards along with their landing page to accurately represent the brand as I see it.
