After two league losses to open their campaign Denver Waterdogs came good in an impressive second stanza Saturday on the StoveTop at Infinity. The last half opened with Denver Barbarians down into Doggies business district, ten meters from goal, but WaterDogs repelled repeated Barbo pick-and-goes closeby the paint before Men in Green turned ball over on a failure to release infraction and Dogs were able to capitalize, subsequently grounding thrice, all converted, for the bonus-point win.

Aspen RFC, the last undefeated XV in competition, went down big time to new headboys Park City Haggis later in the day, 17 - 65, at the Park City Sports Complex. Upcoming, Saturday October 5

Meanwhile, down Cherry Creek a mile or so Queen City Rams were rampant over host Denver Harlequins, and 83 – 7 that final, while down south at Flanagan Park, the Colorado Springs Grizzlies, behind Littleton Scots 25-29 near time in the match, saw a grounding by replacement Ben Lloyd converted at the death by first five-eighths, Tom Parry, make a 5-point, 32 – 29, victory for the home side.
