STEVEN PRINCE TATE (Choreographer)

Steven is a Memphis native holding a degree in Theater and Dance and a minor in Gender Studies from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). As a performer, Steven has performed on SYTYCD, the Kennedy Center with New Ballet Ensemble, American Dance Festival, the Alvin Ailey School stage as well as choreography from Steffanie Batten Bland, Zelma Badu Younge, Travis Gatling, Dwight Rhoden, Ysabelle Capitule and others. He was Associate Director and Choreographer for Memphis based contemporary dance company Bridging Souls Production formed by Tamara Prince-Parrish. He’s developed Vib-ology Dance Workshop for Adult and Teens dancers wanting to foster their dance vocabulary and techniques as well as professional and community movement class NU-FLO and heels movement S.T.R.U.T. As a choreographer, he has choreographed for NBC The Voice RunnerUp Wendy Molten, NBA Dance Team Memphis Grizz Girls, Grizz Grannies and Grandpas, Billboard Chart Topping R&B Artist Diamonique Jackson, Circuit Playhouse, Grammy nominees Southern Avenue and Marco Pave’ well as various dance companies, colleges, organizations and artists throughtout the United States. As a teacher, he has taught for Rhodes College, Ohio University, James Madison University, University of Memphis, Sugar Strut Dancewear: The Sugar Tour (Los Angeles, CA), Thompson Scholars (Manchester, KY), Company d, Opera Memphis, Memphis Black Arts Alliance, Tennessee Ballet Theater, Subroy Dance Studios, the Buckman Conservatory, Studio Gray (West Memphis, AR), and others. In 2020, Steven went viral for choreographing a Beyoncé inspired “Baby Reveal" featured in Essence Magazine, MSN.com, Yahoo!Life.com, and Blavity.com. Steven is currently choreographing for Billboard Magazine featured artist Tyke T for “Beale Street Music Fest 2023". IG: @steven.prince.tate

ALINE TOLOTO (Properties Designer)

Originally from Brazil, Aline holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Technology with emphasis in Scenic Design from the University of Southern Mississippi. Aline’s experience includes working as Prop Master, Scenic Designer, and Interior Designer. She is currently the Properties Supervisor at Charleston Stage and is thrilled to have joined the team in the company's celebrative 45th anniversary.

LUKE WALCHUK (Sound Designer)

Luke has worked in the live sound industry in one form or another since 2004. He gained experience in cruise ship entertainment, amusement parks, live music, and corporate audio before deciding that theatre was the most creatively fulfilling work he could be doing. He went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design and is especially happy to be here at Charleston Stage.
