RequiredDocumentsReviewed.Forstudentsapplyingforgrades1stthrough12thgrade, BCSrequiresacademicrecordstoprocesstheapplication.Youmayuploadanyrecordsyou havethroughtheapplicationportalorbyemailingtheDirectorofAdmissions.Onceyour applicationissubmitted,wewillalsorequestrecordsandteacher/principal recommendationsdirectlyfromyourchild’scurrentschool.
MeetandGreet
Forstudentswhohavenotvisitedcampus,anonsitevisitisrequired.Studentsapplying fromoutofstate/countrymayconductavirtualmeetinginplaceofaninpersonvisit.
EntranceTesting
Studentsapplyingfor2ndgradethrough12thgradewillcompletetheIndependentSchool EntranceExam(ISEE),aproctoredonlinetestthattakesapproximately1.5-2hoursto complete.
Student/FamilyInterview
AspartofthefinalstepintheAdmissionsprocess,yourstudentandyourfamilywillhave theopportunitytomeetwithourMiddleDivisionCoordinator,FacultyPrefect,andour HeadofSchool.Themeetingshouldlast40to50minutes.
AdmissionsCommitteeDeterminesOfferofAcceptance.
TheAdmissionsCommitteewillmeettodeterminewhetheranOfferofAcceptancecanbe made.Youwillbenotifiedoftheirdecisionviaemail.
**IfyourfamilyhasappliedforFinancialAid,theFinancialAidCommitteewillmeetatthis pointtodetermineifafinancialaidawardwillbegiven.**
NewStudentAcceptanceFee.IfanOfferofAcceptanceismade,youwillcomplete paymentofthenon-refundable$200NewStudentAcceptanceFee.Oncethefeeispaid, instructionsforcompletingouronlineenrollmentprocesswillbeemailedtoyou.
CompleteOnlineEnrollmentPacket.Followingtheinstructionsintheenrollmentemail, youwillcreateaFACTSFamilyPortalaccountandcompletetheonlineenrollmentforms. Duringthistime,youmayuploadyourchild’sbirthcertificate,FloridaSchoolEntryHealth Exam,andFloridaImmunizationcertificate.
