Our team of experts include seasoned faculty and clinicians in training from the Texas A&M University Health Science Center. CHI ST. JOSEPH HEALTH CHI ST. JOSEPH HEALTH ADDS CAMPUS IN SOUTH COLLEGE STATION

On August 1, 2019, College Station Medical Center CHI St. Joseph Health officially began an affiliation with CHI St. Joseph Health. The hospital, now called CHI St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital, along with the associated physician clinics, which were also part of the acquisition, bring the total number of CHI St. Joseph Health care locations in the Brazos Valley to more than 50 and the number of employees to over 3,000.

Coming together offers many exciting opportunities to expand services; improve the delivery and quality of care; and broaden access to services for individuals, employers, and communities in the Brazos Valley. Together, the organizations will have the ability to use innovative technology and offer patients resources that are at the forefront of modern medicine, especially in oncology, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery and emergency and trauma areas. The affiliation also increases the number of CHI St. Joseph and Texas A&M Primary Care locations in the College Station area, as well as adds 17 new providers to the CHI St. Joseph and Texas A&M Health Network.

College Station Hospital is now a non-profit Catholic hospital and shares the CHI St. Joseph Health

mission, as well as participates in the charity care program, which supports patients in the Brazos Valley with little or no insurance who need access to healthcare. CHI St. Joseph Health supports several initiatives in the region including the Brazos Health Resource Center, which works daily to connect patients to other services in our community to improve their quality of life. In 2018, CHI St. Joseph Health provided $60 million in community benefit to support the community’s healthcare needs.
