T
hose of us who embrace culture are well covered with the debut of a bright new signature art event presented by SCOPE Events. Guests will be able to “oooh” and “ahhh” at the jury-selected artwork spanning 12 media categories exhibited by over 220 world-class artists hailing from 35 states and abroad. Art will include 2D and 3D mixed media, ceramics, drawing, pastel, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture and wood. There will also be a fascinating digital art installation. The works of six featured artists will be represented on a series of collectible 2020 posters, including those from Erin Hanson from San Diego and David Palmer from Pasadena. Besides soothing the soul with the extensive original art exhibits, guests will remain refreshed by clinking champagne flutes at the Moët & Chandon Oasis Lounge and sipping top shelf spirits poured at the Ketel One Botanical Bar and lakeside Margarita Island featuring Don Julio 1942 tequila. Attendees can also savor upscale menu selections and premier wines while dining al fresco at the Celebration Bistro. There will also be a gourmet food court and a winery row featuring wines from San Luis Obispo, Napa and Sonoma counties.

Meltdown CLM will wax nostalgic with rock and pop renderings from the 1960s, '70s and '80s on Friday and Faults of Andreas dynamic guitar trio will close out the show on Sunday, March 8. to become a new Coachella Valley favorite. Purchase tickets online in advance to avoid lines at the entrance. After all, you don’t want to miss out on the Brandini Toffee decadently dipped ice cream bars.
