ame Joan Henrietta Collins, born in March 1933, is an English actress, author and columnist. She made her stage debut at the age of nine, trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London and entered British films in 1951. She then went under contract to 20th Century Fox in 1955 and appeared in such films as “Land of the Pharoahs,” “The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing,” “Rally Round the Flag, Boys” with Paul

Palm Springs Speaks presents “An Afternoon with Dame Joan Collins” is held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 26. Tickets start at $30.
