With an array of tasting options that await, guests can reserve a variety of hosted, seated tastings to discover the unique terroir of their estate vineyards. In their Reserve Tasting at $25 per person, a selection of four reserve wines is seasonally rotated from their limited-production red and white collection, each one exclusive to the winery. The Estate Tasting for $30 per person includes three exceptionally crafted estate-grown, single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon & red blends hailing from their Abela and Franklin estate vineyards. Their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon bottling, comprised of 100% Rutherford-AVA cabernet, is a must-taste for any Napa Cab aficionado. Donâ€™t miss the educational Wine and Chocolate Pairing for $35 per person where your taste buds will be pleasantly challenged as you learn how to correctly partner chocolate and other sweet flavors with wine to create a true palate sensation. After the tasting, extend your stay and enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio with a tasting enhancement crafted to maximize your wine tasting experience. The Bistro Plate for a $20 includes artisanal meats, local cheeses and nuts, and is ideal for a couple to share alongside glass (or bottle) of wine which is available for purchase in the tasting room. The larger Harvest Board at $30 includes the same tasty charcuterie and generously feeds a group of four. Harvest 2018 BBQ Event Saturday | Sept 29 | 4:00pm Time to grill and chill! Celebrate the 2018 Harvest with great wine, delicious barbeque from Napa’s favorite BBQ joint, smokin’ hot live music, games and more. Tickets are $50 per person for Club Members, $75 per person non-members and can be purchased at rutherfordranch.com/events.

Wine Flights and Lunch Options Feeling extra hungry as well as thirsty? You’re invited to partake in a wine flight tasting followed by a delicious casual boxed lunch or a bespoke seated lunch while visiting the winery. A fresh, seasonal menu for both is prepared by the famed Bouchon Bakery in Yountville. The Boxed Lunch for $60 per person features a vineyard picnic with a hearty sandwich, fruit, chips and a sweet bite to finish. The more substantial Ambient Lunch for $75 per person allows guests to choose their menu selections in advance then simply arrive to the winery where a relaxing, mouthwatering gourmet meal is served in a private setting. Both lunch options require 48-hours advanced notice and include the Reserve Wine flight prior to the lunch.

Committed to Sustainability The winery’s strong belief in ensuring the long-term health of the entire area’s ecological system to support the viability of the agricultural community for generations to come has guided all of Rutherford Ranch’s vineyard and winery practices from day one. From using cover crops in the vineyards to provide habitat for beneficial insects that enrich the soil and prevent erosion, to cultivating natural predation (birds and insects) which replace chemical herbicides and pesticides, the winemaking team focuses on crafting ultra-premium wines in the gentlest way possible. Their further methods of water and energy conservation and pollution prevention help them maintain a California Sustainable Winegrowing Certification. And if you look closely at the landscaping around the property, you’ll notice the flower beds have been mulched with grape seeds that were dried in the sun during the previous year’s harvest.
