Racecar legend Mario Andretti and Joe Antonini met over 30 years ago and became good friends over their love of wine, delicious food and Italian heritage. Mario and Joe founded Andretti Winery in 1996 to bring old world charm and Italian winemaking styles to the Napa Valley. The Andretti Winery winemaking team craft award winning wines including the very popular Montona Reserve Series. Today, visitors to Andretti Winery enjoy world-class food and wine experiences ranging from Tuscan style picnics in the vineyards, intimate dinner parties in the villa, casual family fêtes on the lawn and relaxing weekend brunches while taking in a beautiful sunrise emerging over the Stag's Leap mountains. EAST COAST MEETS WEST COAST Casey & Robbie love the wine country and really wanted to share this with their families who were making the long trek from the east coast to attend their wedding. What better way to honor both coasts than by doing an old-fashioned lobster boil in the vineyards at Andretti Winery? That's when the team at Andretti brought in Chef Damian Genthner, a Napa resident but Maine native, and the son of a

lobster fisherman. Chef Damian flew in lobster and clams from Muscongus Bay in Maine, caught by his father Gary and uncles Richard and Glenn and put together the perfect menu for this group: New England clam chowder, steamers, lobster, grilled corn on the cob, roasted Red Bliss potatoes and onions and blueberry crumb cake. This exquisite meal paired beautifully with Andretti's Don Renzo Rosé, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio. Guests dined at long tables in the middle of the vineyards, enjoying lobster and wine until sunset. Post-dinner, guests retired to the villa lawn and patio, sat around fire pits on Adirondack chairs, shared family stories and their excitement for the next day's wedding. What an incredible memory!

FALL ENGAGEMENT IN THE VINEYARDS Deforest spent several months planning the perfect engagement for his college sweetheart, Ashlyn. After considering many possibilities, he chose to bring her to Andretti Winery under the pretense of doing a reserve tasting with gourmet appetizers on the villa patio where they could enjoy beautiful weather and the vineyards in all their fall glory. Added to this beautiful setting was a bit of live music from guitarist, Ken Kunst. At the conclusion of the tasting, Andretti’s sommelier offered up a glass of the very special Montona Gran Vino and on cue, Deforest invited Ashlyn to take a stroll through the vineyards, wine glasses in hand. Capturing all of this with his telephoto zoom lens from the vineyards, was photographer, Richard Wood. Once the couple was far from the other winery visitors, Deforest got down on one knee and the rest is history! But the story doesn't end here as Deforest had invited Ashlyn's family to the winery, as well. Until Deforest's proposal was happily received by Ashlyn, her family hid in the Tuscan House. What a surprise for Ashlyn to find her whole family seated around the table when Deforest brought her to the Tuscan House for a gourmet celebratory feast, prepared by house chef, Adam Clark.
