This Saturday, Nov. 11, thousands of spectators are expected to line Folsom’s main thoroughfare in patriotic fashion to honor those who defended our freedom for the 17th annual Wayne Spence Folsom Veterans Parade. This year’s parade theme will be from the story of the Buddy Poppy, “Remembering our veterans and their sacrifices.” The annual Wayne Spence Veterans Parade started out nearly two decades ago as a one-man parade through Folsom by none other than local resident Wayne Spence.
