At Crystal Blue Plumbing, Heating & Air, the business has been a family tradition since 1976.

As the second-generation owner of Crystal Blue Plumbing, Tim Sjobeck likes being part of the Loomis community.

“I enjoy helping the community and local homeowners and coaching and training my employees as well,” Sjobeck said.

The business provides domestic and commercial installation, repair and replacement services for hot water heaters, toilets and faucets, pipes, garbage disposals, air conditioning and heating systems, sewers and more.

Being part of the plumbing business adds value to the community, Sjobeck said.

“I grew up (in the) plumbing (business) and liked the fact I gave homeowners hot and cold water as well as protected them from disease with a properly-working sewer and drain system,” Sjobeck said.

Crystal Blue Plumbing’s dedication to exceptional customer service sets them apart from the competition, Sjobeck said.

ES ELECTRIC TAKES ‘EDUCATIONAL STANCE, INSTEAD OF HIGH-PRESSURE SALES’

When customers contract with ES Electrical & Solar, they work directly with Eric Salci, the company’s owner.

“Eric personally works with every customer during the sales and design process,” said office manager Meleah Cordero. “We pride ourselves in taking an educational stance rather than a high-pressure sales pitch.”

ES Electrical does not employ commissioned sales people and “99 percent” of their business comes from referrals from “satisfied” customers, Cordero said.

The company specializes in solar power for the home and business. Team members are trained and hold certifications in advanced photovoltaic design and the company employs a California State journeyman electrician as its foreman. From solar design, to rebates, to solar panel installation, to interconnection with the utility, the entire process is completed in-house with no subcontracting, according to the company website.

With more than 25 years experience as an electrician, Salci got into the solar energy field because of his passion for clean energy and electrical design, Cordero said.

Salci opened his solar business in Penryn in 2007 and most of

his clients are in the Loomis area, Cordero said.

His top business priority is to continue to run a successful business solely from customers’ referrals in his local community, Salci said.

“I feel very fortunate to live in, raise my family, and have a business in this wonderful community,” he said.

ES Electrical offers specialty services such as solar photovoltaic (PV) service and repair, ground-mounted solar kits, and energy analysis and consulting, Cordero said.

Education and integrity are the most valuable services that the company provides to customers, Salci said.

“We offer an honest accurate energy analysis and educate every client about how solar energy works so they make the best decision possible while investing in their energy independence,” Salci said. 

HEBARD INSURANCE IS A LOOMIS LEGACY

Chris Hebard’s family has offered insurances services to the Loomis community since 1950.

The Hebards originally worked in real estate and needed to insure houses for their clients, she said. Hebard’s partner Sabrina Higby joined the company in 2008, merging her tax business with the company’s insurance services.

“I started working in the agency filing papers when I was 11 years old and the rest is history,” Hebard said.

As a third-generation member and owner of the Hebard Insurance family, Hebard “feels invested” in the business and in her local community.

“I love Loomis. I’ve grown up with our clients and neighbors, attended school and watched their children and grandchildren grow up,” Hebard said. “My grandpa always told me that if we take care of our community, they will take care of us and that is pretty fulfilling.”
