Stay healthy and get fit at Palm Desert Aquatic Center

he new year is here and Palm Desert Aquatic Center (PDAC) makes it easy for Valley residents and non-residents to stay healthy and get fit. PDAC is offering restorative yoga and deck cycling classes. Grab a fitness pass for you to participate in all PDAC has to offer for one monthly price. Relax with the Restorative Yoga class, offered on Tuesday and Thursday at 8:15 a.m. The cost is $15 per class or $99 for a 10-session pass. This is a gentle yoga that involves minimal poses supported by props that allow complete re-
laxation and rest. PDAC provides yoga mats and props. No prior yoga experience is required. As space is limited, please make reservations by calling (760) 565-7467. Palm Desert Aquatic Center has acquired 12 state of the art, FreeMotion cycling bikes. PDAC will utilize these bikes in their new program - Deck Cycling. Deck Cycling is an indoor cycling experience on the outdoor pool deck. The first month’s rate includes unlimited classes for $69. Also offered is the frequent rider pass including 10 rides for $89, guest can also pay $10 as the drop-in rate. Space
is limited for this program, please call for reservations. PDAC fitness pass are now available and on sale for $99 per month. This pass allows users to take unlimited water exercise classes, cycling classes, yoga classes, and lap swimming. For those preferring to only swim laps, PDAC offers a lap swim fitness pass as well. Palm Desert Aquatic Center offers year-round fun with three year-round heated pools, multiple slides, diving boards, and a variety of play features designed to delight water lovers of all ages. All or part of the 8-acre facility can be rented for
private parties, corporate events, swimming competitions, and other special occasions. Located in Palm Desert Civic Center Park, the Aquatic Center is owned by the City of Palm Desert and operated by Family YMCA of the Desert.
