o take advantage of the cooler desert mornings The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will begin its summer hours and open an hour earlier for guests to enjoy the wildlife exhibits, gardens and special attractions. Plus, discounted summer memberships and buy one behind the scenes tour, get one free offers are available. From now through September 30, The Living Desert will be open 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily with the last admission at 1 p.m. Summer Mem-

berships, valid through September 30, entitle guests to four months of free admission for $25/individuals, $40/dual, $75/family, which includes two adults and four children. Summer hours and memberships offer a great opportunity for visitors to take advantage of the extra hour in the early morning when wildlife is most active. Before the heat of the day, many animals can be seen eating, exploring and playing in the cooler morning temps.

The Living Desert is offering a special on its one-of-a-kind behindthe-scenes tours with its Summer Chill Tour Package. Book a private behind-the-scenes tour of camel, jaguar, cheetah, giraffe or leopard and as a bonus, choose an extra behind-the-scenes tour of coati, warthog, badger or peccary. The package also includes a three-hour guided shuttle tour of The Living Desert. Bookings are through September 30 only.
