EyeLearn: Online Store & Optometrist Toolkit



EyeLearn is BCDO’s revamped children’s eye health program, rolling out in urban and rural communities across BC. EyeLearn raises awareness of the importance of eye exams for infants and those under 19 years of age and highlights eye exams for this group are fully or partially covered by MSP.

To accompany the EyeLearn program and to help promote children’s vision health, all featuring the mascot, Opie, the following merchandise are available in the EyeLearn online store: • Opie stuffed Toy • Mouse Pad • Stress Ball • Sticker • Mini Coloured Pencil Pack • Brochure • Posters

Optometrist Toolkit
BCDO has also created a suite of materials for EyeLearn - an Optometrist's Toolkit. Within the toolkit, there are several pieces to help promote children’s vision health:
• Four social media posts and accompanying copy. • Posters of Opie in three sizes if you wish to print it in your offices. This is also available in the EyeLearn online store. • An email template to invite parents/guardians to book their children’s eye exams, with a banner.
