BCCHS ANNUAL FUND

“People should look at us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.” (1 Cor. 4:1)

REFLECTION: As we relive the passion of Christ during this Lenten season, may we remember the gift of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and try to remain in his grace forever. Our Lenten sacrifices should be true offerings to the Lord, and when we experience this hurt or pain, we can truly relive the passion of Christ. Remember our pastors, school staff members, and students in your prayers and sacrifices during this Lenten Season.

Our Advancement Office team is proud to introduce our digital Aquila newsletter which will be published quarterly. We will only have one printed Aquila at the end of the calendar year, which will include our Annual Report and other news items. Due to increased production costs, shortage of paper due to the supply chain, and increased postage, we have decided to provide our alumni and community friends with a newsletter that will help all of us stay connected more often and have it available to share with others on our website and delivered to your email.

Please make sure that you and any of your Bishop Carroll connections keep our office informed of their current email address and other contact information so all can receive the digital Aquila editions. We are always looking to highlight stories of interest, accomplishments, and achievements of our alumni in our Aquila and other social media outlets. Submit your news of interest to us online or send an email to advancement@bcchs.org

In January, we had 153 students and chaperones attend the 2023 March 4 Life trip with the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. We are so proud of the students who march to support life. This trip gives me a chance to see a glimpse of what incredible adults these young people will become as they continue to grow on their faith journey.

We have been truly blessed in our school community and looking forward to the Class of 2027. We have 293 students that have applied for admission and we are making plans for our 2023-24 school year. We are so grateful for all of you that support us through your prayers and gifts of stewardship so we can provide an excellent Catholic education for our Bishop Carroll families.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope to become more engaged with our Bishop Carroll alumni and friends with a more frequent digital newsletter.

Thank you and God bless!!!
