Headmaster’s Welcome
Brighton College Prep School provides an inspiring education that will prepare pupils for life in our College and beyond. We are proud to be part of a school that is a leading light in British education.
Our school helps its pupils to believe in themselves and excel in their own way. No two children are the same, and the teaching philosophy here allows pupils to be themselves whilst enabling them to develop and progress.
At the beginning of their journey here, children are introduced to specialist teaching in the arts, languages, STEM and sports, delivered by highly qualified experts in their fields.
Pupils are encouraged to expand their learning by stepping out of their comfort zone, safe in the knowledge they will be supported at every step of their educational journey. Our motto is well known by all our girls and boys who pride themselves on upholding it: Be Kind. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be the Best You.
Mr Ant Falkus Headmaster

A Love of Learning by the Sea
Brighton College Prep School is situated in the vibrant heart of Brighton, with direct access to the beach. Our Beach School provides a well-rounded learning experience, enabling children to explore the natural resources of our stunning coastal environment.
In this setting, our Nursery and Reception pupils delve into the intriguing world of marine life and ocean habitats. All our subject learning is incorporated into our Beach School programme, which includes activities such as palaeontology, dinosaur exploration, beachcombing, yoga, rockpooling, and creating coastal art. The seaside location is ideal for fostering imagination, freedom, and a love for outdoor learning.

The Perfect Start
The Nursery at Brighton College Prep School is where children start their educational journey at three years old. An integral part of our Prep School, our Nursery provides the perfect start before moving to one of our Reception classes.
Many children in our Nursery are ready to spend more than just mornings with us. Our Nursery Afternoons are perfect for little ones eager to continue exploring and learning. From weekly Beach School lessons and adventures in the city to dance, sports, cooking, gardening and mindful activities, we ensure imagination and creativity continue to thrive after our engaging mornings have ended.
