I am a member of the BCA because I support their mission of diversity in the culinary industry. As an educator, I can facilitate connections between culinary students of color with mentors and chefs who look like they do.

I believe in the mission of BCA Global, and I stand with the Presidents vision for the organization. BCA Global teaches the black and brown youth of today about the importance of health and mindful eating in communities where its most needed. Not only does BCA Global bring this information to the youth, but its brought to all ages.

15TH ANNUAL GLOBAL FOOD & WINE EXPERIANCE

The Food & Wine Experience compliments the BCA’s Mission to advance diversity to the highest ranks of the culinary and beverage industry. At this event, aspiring culinary and beverage professionals learn about the industry; established restaurateurs, sommeliers, and importers network and display their brands and achievements. BCAGlobal also honors the dedication of leaders and role models in the wine & spirits industry with the Vision in Wine & Spirits Award. This year’s event will also honor a culinary leader with the distinguished Jefferson Evans Award.

This year’s 2019 Vision Award was presented to Marty Tennant and Brian M. Martinez.

This important evening is the only event in the country celebrating diversity, using the food and beverage industry as a nexus to bring people together. The realization that the act of sharing and consuming food and beverage has become detached from its traditional cultural contexts has emerged. The purpose is to reconnect food to cultural heritage and the community, through social nourishment in the context of “Enjoying Responsibly”.

VIP Sustainable Member VIP Sustainable Member dues: $35.00/Monthly Designed for individuals who would like to support BCAGlobal on a sustainable level (equivalent to a $1.15 per day).

** In addition to the highest level of benefits VIP Sustainable Members are admitted to all BCA events No Charge (approx Value- $200/yearly)

Associate Member annual dues: $100.00/Annually Designed for entry-level professionals, this membership is for individuals currently employed in an affiliated food service and/or hospitality environment in a capacity that can serve as partial qualifications for more advanced membership.

Chef / Professional Member dues: $250.00/Annually Designed for mid-level professionals with a high level of expertise in culinary arts and hospitality services, this level of membership includes chefs, business owners, regional directors, design consultants, management consultants, business services, architects, interior designers, etc.

Executive Management Member dues: $350.00/Annually Designed for Executive Managers who have obtained the highest management position at a BCA Global-approved food service institutions. Select professional applicants will be considered after a review and approval of qualifications.
