Gunnison Valley
Located in the heart of the Rockies and the Elk Mountain Range, the Gunnison Valley boasts over 270 days of sunshine, and an average elevation of over 9,000 feet. Comprised of over 80% open space, average high temperatures in the Gunnison Valley reside around 65 degrees in the summer months and 21 degrees in the winter. Mt. Crested Butte
Established in 1973, Mt. Crested Butte is home to approximately 1,000 year-round residents and the ski area at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Located 3 miles north of the Town of Crested Butte, Mt. Many homes and condos in the area offer ski-in/ski-out access, as well as convenient locations along the Mountain Express free bus loops. Trail systems through the ski area, Snodgrass Mountain and the Upper Loop also offer easy access for Mt. Crested Butte
