Average sales prices for single-family homes in Gunnison during the first quarter of the year held steady compared to last year. Certain segments of the market have even experienced multiple offers, specifically homes priced under $600,000. Buyers are actively looking to lock in their next purchase, and a slight increase in inventory helps drive interest. With only two available condos and townhomes currently available for purchase in Gunnison, this segment also remains one of the hottest in the market. Affordable housing opportunities are becoming more readily available, making homeownership attainable for the local workforce. The average sold price for Gunnison area land stabilized compared to the first quarter of last year, with fewer commercial and residential land
