The youth and mentors in the Puget Sound have an entire community of support around them – a community made up of everyone who is involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound. Our community is full of amazing people from organizations of all types and sizes that are committed to supporting and uplifting youth. These organizations are true partners – providing everything from funding and consulting to recruitment support, activities for matches and families, advertising space, and even people power. Listed below are some of this year’s fantastic partners and how they engaged with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound.
1 Amazon
Partnered with us to create a work place mentoring program called Bigs in Tech, a model which has shown fantastic engagement from Amazonians as Bigs, as well as schools and youth throughout the community.
2 Nordstrom Rack
Hosted a shopping event for Littles at their Factoria store, where kids got gift cards to go shopping with support from fashion influencers in finding unique ways to express their individual styles.
3 Deloitte
Created a scholarship fund for Littles throughout the nation, provided consulting support on developing a new strategic plan, and generously donated meeting space and other resources.
4 evo Seattle
Supports youth and mentors through our point-of-sale partnership, where customers can choose to donate to BBBSPS during the checkout process. evo has also generously provided grant funding and hosted free activities for youth.
5 Woodland Park Zoo
Partnered with us to secure funding to create a program for youth ages 9-15 to build conservation identity, as well as regularly donating tickets for matches to visit the Zoo together!
6 Charter Construction Inc.
This locally-founded construction company has partnered with BBBSPS for years, supporting in many ways, and most recently as the presenting sponsor of the annual BIG Gala.
7 The Seattle Times
Each year they host their “Fund for Those in Need” drive, encouraging their readers to support community organizations including BBBSPS. The Times also amplifies our mission through advertising and storytelling.
8 The Museum of Flight
A fantastic non-profit partner, the Museum generously donates tickets and hosts activities for our matches.
9 Parcion Private Wealth
This wealth management organization is a valued sponsor whose staff also act as community ambassadors, regularly volunteering to support community events.
10 Puget Sound Energy
As part of their goal to engage youth in the outdoors, PSE selected us as one of their 2021 Light the Lamp partners, providing funding and support to our efforts to get matches to resume inperson meet-ups and get outside.
11 City of Tacoma
The City is a valued partner in many ways – a tireless ally in supporting Tacoma’s youth, they fund anti-violence and preventative programs at BBBSPS.
12 Foundation for Tacoma Students
The Foundation is another constant advocate for Tacoma’s youth. They provided a generous grant as well as partnership in supporting Tacoma youth.
13 Tom & Meg Names Family Foundation
This family foundation has long been committed to making a difference for young people in Pierce County, providing grant funding to us and many other youth-serving organizations.
14 Archbright Health & Wellness Fund
Investing in the future of our youth, Archbright provides generous funding to BBBS to support our social-emotional learning methodologies.
15 KeyBank
Always ready to show up for kids, KeyBank engages their dedicated team members to volunteer for events like our Spirit of 12 partnership as well as hosting a school supply drive to support kids.
16 Lewis Community Spouses Club
This service club is working to support youth and mentors in the military community, providing a grant that supports boosting mentorship in and around Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
17 Davis Property & Investment
A tireless partner for years, Davis Property & Investment is the leader and key partner of our annual BIG Invitational golf tournament, as well as being a generous sponsor.

This unique and empowering organization donated their powerful gallery space to our BIG Impact event, as well as a custom commissioned artwork that communicates our organization’s vision, mission, and community.
