A WEDDING WITH A RICH
Malay Nusantara HERITAGE
NEWLY-WED Noor Shahmil Husin, 31, and Mai Ainin Sofiya Mior Yazid, 22, were given a rich Malay Nusantara heritage celebration, complete with cultural and music performance, on their wedding day. The ceremony was held in Pulau Misa, Bota Kiri, Perak by Dendang
Anak, an association that promotes the Malay Nusantara culture and music in Malaysia. Sofiya’s father, Yazid, who is an active member of the association decided to welcome the bride and groom with the colourful ceremony on Saturday, Sept 10, 2016.
