All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay, From death he will awaken. Then we’ll come to see all that life can be: Paradise eternally.

Remembering Frank Order of Service
Frank Scott was born to Olivia Farris and Leslie Scott of Epps, Louisiana, on August 24, 1947. In 1953, the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. On November 11, 1967, was an important date in Frank’s life, when he dedicated himself unreservedly to serve Jehovah, his God, Father and Friend. For the next 56 years of his life, Frank faithfully has lived up to his relationship and Kingdom service to his Heavenly Father. (Matthew 24:14).
Frank married Joyce Ann Dennis on February 10, 1968. Two daughters were born from this union: Krista Janelle and Lacey Elaine. With Jehovah in their lives, 55 years of marriage succeeded as Ecclesiastes 4:12 states,“…And a threefold cord cannot quickly be torn apart.”
After release, Frank was appointed to serve as an elder and eventually as presiding overseer (now known as coordinator of the Body of Elders) in the congregation up until 2022. Frank’s service privileges included: circuit assembly committee chair; assistant; and attendant department overseer during summer convention Additionally, he was assigned numerous assembly/convention program speaking parts.

“Life Without End – At Last” (John 3:16)
Frank was classified as a conscientious objector to military service; hence, he was sentenced to prison in the early years of his dedicated life to Jehovah God (late ‘60s to early ‘70s). He finished his time at the low security Federal Prison Camp in Safford, Arizona, where he took the lead in conducting meetings among other incarcerated spiritual brothers. In addition, he actively served as a volunteer firefighter – earning about 11 cents an hour – to fill periods of his time while at the Federal camp.
Throughout Frank’s 56 years of serving Jehovah, he received from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses periodic invitations to attend special spiritual training in caring for the needs of the local congregation. (1 Peter 5:2, 3). These included the School for Congregation Elders and the Kingdom Ministry School; the latter he attended as recently as March 11-12, 2023.
Gregarious and conversationalist are two descriptive words for Frank’s personality. The sociable husband, father, brother and friend enjoyed such hobbies as photography, card games and dominoes.
Frank was the youngest of six older siblings, four of whom preceded him in death: Edward Scott; Leon Scott; Louis Scott; Roosevelt Scott. His daughter Krista Janelle also preceded him in death. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; daughter Lacey; granddaughter Kiarra; grandson Joshua; sister Leola (Scott) Henry; and brother Lennel Scott; along with many nieces and nephews.
