RULES GENERAL RULES BIDDER INFORMATION: Each attendee or couple has a registration number on a bidding paddle which must be used for all bidding in the Live Auction. ITEM VALUES are donor’s estimates and are not warranted by Baylor School for tax purposes or general use. EXPIRATION DATE: Services and non-tangible items (gift certificates) must be used within one year of March 8, 2025, unless otherwise specified. PAYMENTS IN FULL for all auction items must be made that night by cash, personal check payable to “Baylor School,” VISA, American Express, or MasterCard. Any bidder not making arrangements for payment in full the night of the auction may forfeit his or her right to purchase the item. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There will be no exchanges or refunds of items by the donors except where specified. Items are not transferable. AUCTIONEER DISCRETION If the Auctioneer determines that the opening bid or any subsequent bid is not commensurate with the value of the item(s) offered, he may reject the same and withdraw the item(s) from sale, and if, having acknowledged an opening bid, he decides that an advance thereafter is not of sufficient amount, he may

reject the advance. The auctioneer retains the right to add or delete any item. The auctioneer reserves the right to announce conditions of sale at any time. “REFLECTING” BY ALAN SHUPTRINE ’81 “Reflecting” is an original oil painting from nationally renowned artist, Alan Shuptrine ’81. This beautiful landscape painting depicts the view of the Tennessee River and Lookout Mountain from Barks Hall balcony and is displayed in one of Shuptrine’s handcrafted, gold leaf frames. The painting is donated to Celebrations in honor of his classmates from the Class of ’81, and his sons Jake ’14 and Ben ’16. Christopher Michael DeStefano is a Grammy Awardwinning American singer/songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist currently living in Nashville. CARDIO ROOM REFRESH The Field House cardio room is used by all students during the school week and provides boarding students with a place to meet and work out during evenings and weekends, fostering community and improving physical and mental health. Yet, much of the equipment is more than 25 years old. The “cardio clean” will include new treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and

free weights, making workouts more effective and enjoyable, and catering to the preferences of today’s students. RODDY REFRESH Roddy hosts a variety of performances for our Baylor community and gives our middle and upper school students an opportunity to develop their artistic talents and to shine on stage.
