Mission of MAPS

The Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students is a student-run organization at Baylor University that is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the health care field. We additionally facilitate service-learning opportunities to prepare our members to provide for the health care needs of individuals from varying backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic levels. It is the mission of the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students to foster a community for our members where they are able to explore, better understand, and appreciate the various backgrounds that make up the patient and healthcare professional populations.

Submissions to Mosaic

Mosaic is not limited to perspective articles. Rather, it can also incorporate research articles and creative pieces such as literature reviews and poems. If you are interested in being featured in Mosaic, please reach out to the current Mosaic chair of the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students or any other member of the executive board who is within contact of the Mosaic committee. This publication is available for all students to discover cultures besides their own and to learn, accept, and understand our diverse Baylor community.
