More-A-Roo When Book Author, Baylife Style Editor and Entrepreneur Kristy Kurjan published Nap-A-Roo, her very first children’s board book. She was inspired by her 2-year-old identical twin boys. “There were so many goodnight books, but a serious lack of Nap books.” Recalls Kristy. The devoted mom knew that kids need rituals and toddlers fight to lay down. Plus, naptime is a scared peaceful, much needed time out for moms. Moms across the country agreed, embracing Kristy’s vibrant book into their children’s naptime routine. Toddlers everywhere began their naptime ritual with the wonderful characters and rhymes she had created. She did whirlwind book tours, signings and won national awards. The little Nap-A-Roo had become a BigDeal-A-Roo. Kristy had a hit. That's a lot for one person to juggle. Since the successful launch, this supermom has been busy also adding to her adorable family. In Feb 2016, Kristy and husband Aaron welcomed a girl, beautiful little Clementine into the world. Inspired once more to let her creative outlet go wild, she dreamed up two new imaginative books to add to her publishing empire too. Dream Sweet Dreams and The Many Ways To Say I Love You. Hot off the press and just launched, they are bursting with colorful illustrations by talented illustrator, Tyler Parker.
