Snapshots, October 11 - 17 BAVUAL MAGAZINE ILLEGAL IN 6 STATES
Laws in six red states that ban the teaching of black history under the guise of neutering Critical Race Theory, a subject only taught in law schools, has hit home with us at BAVUAL. In the magazine's Preview Issue, dated Falll 2021, there is an article entitled Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Critial Race Theory*(But Were Afraid To Ask)*, in which we
carefully delineate what CRT is and is not. Teaching this article in a classroom in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Montana, Idaho, Georgia and Florida can and will get you arrested. This is clearly an outrage and if holds and allowed to spread to the other states will elad to the extinction of freedom of speech and freedom of the press in the U.S. It should be known that BAVUAL intends to contact the Education Commissioner in each of these red states and will possibly launch a lawsuit through the ACLA base don their answers. Tennessee's Policy Of Demeaming Black Children
Black Anti-Vaxxers In The Spotlight The COVID19 epidemic, now in its 19th month, has revealed many surprises, chief among them the fact that not all African-Americans are on board to defeat this dreaded disease (that in breaking news as we go to press has just claimed the life of exSecretary of State Colin Powell). From influencers Nicki Minaj to LeBron James, black celebrities are not helping their fellow Americans adopt the various vaccines that will save their lives. History will not look kindly on them.
A Tennessee judge, Donna Scott Davenport, illegally jailed black children even when there was no crime committed, by making up bogus, offthe-books laws. Her policy, instituted in 2016, only recently came to light when 11 black schoolchildren were jailed for witnessing a fight between a 5 and 6 year old. Officials in her local county of Rutherford tried to sweep the incident under the rug with a$397,500 settlement to the children's families. As yet, no further action has been taken.
