More than 70 years of history
In the 1950’s Carlo Bauducco left Italy for Brazil, bringing with him his family’s original, traditional Panettone recipe. Here begins an incredible history of success. Three generations on, the company is still managed by the Bauducco family, and has become a leading manufacturer of baked goods in Brazil and an internationally recognized food company.
In 2005, Bauducco established a subsidiary in the USA from which its dedicated, multi-functional team introduced a variety of baked goods to the local market and expanded distribution to every region of the country, while being an export center for Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
As a result of this expansion and due to its long-term commitment to the country, Bauducco opened in 2018 its first American manufacturing facility in Miami, FL, along with its distribution center and corporate office.
In total, Bauducco has five manufacturing plants, with capacity to produce more than 300,000 tons annually. Its industrial center is one of the most advanced in Latin America. Currently exporting to 50 countries all over the world, Bauducco is the largest producer of Panettone in the world, with 80 million units.

Our recipe has been passed down for generations, from Carlo Bauducco who emigrated from Italy in 1950’s, to his great grandchildren today.
The secret ingredient which makes panettone so moist, fluffy and delicious is the “mother” dough that Mr. Bauducco brought from Italy. As part of our traditional, 52-hour process to make each loaf, our bakers save a bit of this “mother” dough every day to mix into tomorrow’s batch, which is what creates our panettone’s special flavor. Our Panettone takes many steps and 52 hours to make, including a long proofing period in which the dough becomes extra fluffy and flavorful.
It is made with the finest ingredients, including fresh fruit that are dried in our factory.
