Building is still booming

Staff A strong local economy, despite the recent oil slump, means these are still booming times for construction in the Battlefords. Last year saw record building permits of almost $56 million in North Battleford and $26 million in Battleford, and the boom has not

let up. So far in 2015, North Battleford has seen almost 37 permits for $8,832,000 and City officials have been predicting even more good news to come. This week, the Regional Optimist features a round up of construction throughout the community, residential and commercial. See Pages 3 and 6 for more.
