And the poll says ...
Staff Polls might show Brad Wall’s Saskatchewan Party with a massive lead, but trying to find the underlying reasons behind it is a major job in itself. One of those trying to make sense of it all is Cam Cooper, pollster with Praxis Analytics, who provided a detailed analysis of the public mood of Saskatchewan residents – particularly when it came to viewing the
Saskatchewan economy – in addressing the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce March 9 at a noon-hour luncheon. The presentation at Northland Power Curling Centre was on The Saskatchewan Outlook, Saskatchewan’s Economy and Personal Well-being, the View from Street Level. The survey was conducted in early December of more than 600 Saskatchewan residents in all parts of the province. For more turn to Page 6.

Dancers Who Care 2.0 Dancers Who Care, an evening of “dance, good food, excitement and community service,” hosted by the Shevchuk family and other volunteers was held at the Don Ross Centre Saturday, showcasing local dancers performing in a variety of styles, including Ukrainian, Highland, jazz, First Nation, hip hop, ballet and more. There was also a meal and a silent auction with a dance to follow. The second version of Dancers Who Care revisited last year’s successful fundraiser for Battlefords Trade and Education Centre, the brainchild of teen dancer Natalya Shevchuk.
