Delegates attend SUMA

Staff Northwest municipal leaders and those from across the province gathered in Saskatoon this week for the annual Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association convention. Passing of a resolution calling for an inquiry or round table into the issue of missing and murdered

indigenous women was adopted. The resolution was sponsored by the City of North Battleford. Also talked about at the convention was revenue sharing, with Government Relations Minister Jim Reiter telling delegates everything is on the table when it comes to provincial budget preparations.
