INSPECTING THE BATTERY
Inspect the battery for cracks and leaks, wear protective gear

Dip your toothbrush into the baking soda/water solution and start scrubbing off the corrosion

DRYING AND RECONNECTING
Take a clean towel to dry them off along with any surrounding areas that may have gotten wet.

Make sure all tools and supplies are well within reach and that your car is parked in a level spot

DISCONNET THE BATTERY
Remove plastic caps from terminals, then use socket spanner to loosen negative terminal nut

CLEAN THE TERMINALS
Scrub terminals vigorously with a solution and toothbrush to remove all buildup
