A traffic survey is taking place early this month in a bid to address a “safety blackspot” in Widcombe. It comes after two men, aged 20 and 72, died after collisions on Widcombe Hill within the past 12 months. In a joint message, councillors Alison Born and Winston Duguid (Liberal Democrats, Widcombe and Lyncombe) said: “The council has agreed to carry out a survey of the speed and volume of vehicles on the length of the Turn to Page 5
