The NAJ National Committee is the Association’s governing group of individuals that strives to deliver positive change on behalf of members and supporters.
Deliberating how the pandemic has driven the NAJ to be more relevant for its members, the Association’s National Committee wanted to see industry standards front and centre, with community and sustainability closely behind when renewing its strategic focus.
The members of the Committee were also determined to see a sustainable and healthy future for the Association.
The Committee is delighted to share with you a top-line view of the strategy, which aims to deliver better business for members, for their people and for the Association as a whole.
Standards
We will set and promote standards, delivering activities to protect, promote and prepare members businesses and development of qualified and informed professionals. We will support access into, with and through the UK jewellery community, increasing the value of membership by enhancing the relevance of benefits and breadth of knowledge and expertise available to the NAJ community. We will advocate the value of the British jewellery industry, championing the interests of member businesses, stewarding relationships with relevant bodies to foster informed debate on the issues impacting our members.
