Housing for Heroes Humboldt Ave., North Minneapolis
COMPLETED
Built a four-bedroom transitional housing residence and our first accessory dwelling unit (ADU) to serve veterans experiencing homelessness in partnership with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) and Lennar. This build project is the Foundation’s eighth Housing for Heroes project in the metro area.

COMPLETED
Built a four-bedroom supportive housing residence with an ADU, to serve veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness. This one house can serve 640 people over 50 years.

Four new transitional homes accompanied by four accessory dwelling units (ADUs) — a massive undertaking — was completed in 2023. These four homes will add 20 more beds for unhoused veterans in North Minneapolis.

Avivo Family Recovery Housing
COMPLETED
Renovated four apartment units for mothers recovering from addiction and created a nurturing environment for their children. These four units were the last of 10-unit building to be renovated.
