The material choice and its composition make ARMET well-balanced and lightweight on the head, with the feel of a bicycle helmet thanks to its inner shell. The inner shock-absorbing composition consists of a combination of EPS and EPP with low density and high resilience.

When a helmet is struck by an angled impact, it can cause the head to suddenly and violently rotate. This is a common cause of concussions and brain injuries.

The MIPS® safety system is designed to allow movement inside the helmet, thus reducing rotational forces on the head during certain angled impacts - thereby reducing the risk of such injuries. The protection is based on over 25 years of research conducted in collaboration with neurologists and researchers at the Karolinska Institute and KTH.

Sturdy outer shell designed to withstand the test of time

The exterior of ARMET is made of ABS, known for its high resistance to impacts, penetration, and fire.

Compared to more common helmet shells made of polypropylene, ABS is more robust, less prone to scratching, and has a longer lifespan. The product's lifespan is 10 years from the manufacturing date.

twICEme is a digital NFC device integrated into the helmet, enabling storage and reading of emergency information. In the event of an accident, an NFC-enabled smartphone can be placed on the twICEme symbol for immediate access to information about the injured person: allergies, insurance details, chronic illnesses, medications, and contact information for family and friends. The user determines which information to store. The device is not connected to the internet or cloud and does not require GDPR consent.
