Comply with Your Container’s Torque Requirements. Make Sure Your IBC Caps are Properly Tightened.

Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s closing instructions to be in compliance with the container torque requirements.

• What size and type of fill cap does it have? This will determine the correct IBC cap wrench or torque socket to get.

•W hat is inside? Is it hazardous, meaning explosive, flammable, or combustible? You’ll need a spark-resistant or non-sparking socket for your IBC tote wrench or torque wrench.

• What torque rating do you need to comply with DOT shipping standards?
