'The Bluebirds' is a fictional story based on the infamous Cardiff City rebrand. It explores themes of identity, friendship, brotherhood, family, addiction, and how addiction may affect a family. The few pages available to read on Issuu form the first chapter of a story that was planned for at least 80 pages. Unfortunately, it may never be finished.

Emilio Utrera is an Argentinian cartoonist and a writer. He is the creator of self-published comics: ‘Barras’, ‘La Toma’ and ‘Patriotas’. Bartosz Nowicki is a Polish born storyteller, curator, and researcher. He is the author of ‘City – The Season’, a photo book documenting the Cardiff City FC infamous rebrand.
