In 2015 Fundación Barraquer has broken records, with fifteen expeditions in which more than three thousand cataract surgeries were performed. We have expanded our action to the American continent, with a medical mission to the Dominican Republic in August.
Since April, Andreu Cristall manages the day to day as coordinator of the Fundación, with great professionalism and efficiency.
We also want to welcome Dr. Joaquin Fernández, who travelled with us from Almeria to the Democratic Republic of Congo on Easter Break, getting involved with great enthusiasm in our project.
I am proud to see how my passion and enthusiasm spreads among more and more people, which allows us to continue to grow and be able to help a greater number of people in need.
