Testimonials It is with sadness that I write this testimonial for my friend and competitor Tom Wills. Serious illness means that Tom will sell his entire stock of racing pigeons. It is with great honour that I write this testimonial to an exceptional pigeon fancier and his tremendous family of pigeons. Pigeons that not only win for him, but also the countless fanciers across this country lucky enough to have them. I’m speaking of none other than Tom Wills, who races in the largest federation in this country, the CCF, boasting 400+ flying members, and his results (even through his illness!) speak volumes about his prowess as a fancier, as well as the quality of his birds.

2011 was the first season we competed with the Tom Wills birds, and we had a great season, finishing 2nd SCPF averages and 7th NRC averages(70+ flyers).The “star” of the season was SCPF ’09 0082.(bred 2010 with an old ring.) a Blue Chequer Hen who was our clock bird 6 times! This year we’ve again had a fantastic season with “0082” being our clock bird a further 4 times! What a pigeon! This year we had another “star” in QPF’11 10530 a blue bar cock, who topped the club from Rockhampton (approx. 450km) by 21min, and the North Road Combine(83 flyers) by just under 8min! Incidentally this young cocks grandmother won the Central Cumberland Federation (400+ flyers) by 7min for Tom Wills!

These birds not only win themselves but also pass on these winning genes to their offspring.

We are truly grateful to Tom for his kindness, friendship, and supreme generosity with his birds.

JOS THONE, Belgium Lot 16 CCF-06-70253 Blue Bar Pied Cock Champion racer, now one of my best producers. The very best bloodlines of Jos Thone. I named “70253” the “Bridesmaid” as he arrived on four occasions to win along with two of my other great racers “68888” (Lot 27) and “70666”, “The Biter” (Lot 28) … “The Magnificent Three”! I stocked “68888” and “70666”. In the next two races “70253” was there to win but I had changed the trap-in, so he had a second prize, then in his next start he finished second again. In each of these races I gained top positions in the CC Federation. “70253” was then stocked and is now one of my best producers. “70253” is a magnificent pigeon so much so that when I found out Steve Eggleton of Kuringa Club was judging the Sydney racing pigeon show I entered him and he won under this very talented pigeon fancier (whom I have known since he was 14 years old and with his father a great fancier).
