SYD RANDALL It is with deep regret that, owing to health problems and age, I have to sell all my birds. It saddens me to do so as I have had many enjoyable years since 1982 and made a lot of friends. I held office for over 18 years it gave me great pleasure to help my fellow flyers and I now leave the sport with much regret having had what I feel is a good breeding season. I wish all flyers best of health and results in the coming years. My family of pigeons go back to the early years flying in the Hampstead club. I obtained pigeons from Jimmy Cox, Bob Marchant, John Pryor, Roy Dangerfield, Bob Blyth, Grant Paterson to name a few and I developed my first family from the Cox x Marchant birds with a blending of birds from K&B Markou. In the later years I have been fortunate to obtain top quality birds from Steven Kearsey of the VHA. He has given me genuine birds that have come direct from Houbens also Frank Tasker of the UK. Casaerts bred off children of National winners also Houben x Sootjen. I have to mention Ross Hocking for the help he gave me when I was at very low point in my life. Ross was a big factor in 2003 when I was just diagnosed with cancer I must admit without Ross I would not have finished 3rd SAHPA points. I also have had birds from Ross now and then. She was twice placed in the SAHPA. 20th Temora and 3rd Mt Gambier. Gained 3rd club & 4th Group Temora 1991. Dam of 6th SAHPA Inglewood, G/dam 1st SAHPA temora also 4th Temora. G/dam of 1st SAHPA Benalla for Leo Duits also g/dam of an SAHPA winner for F. Di-mella etc. Gift birds to Bill Markou, Leo Duits, Jan Vander Linden, Brian Thomas have produced winners and many more.
