It is with great regret that I am forced to disposeof all my pigeonsat this time. I sufferwith the dreadedpigeonlung conditionand havebeenadvisedby my Doctors that my conditionhasworsenedand that I mustdisposeof my birdsimmediately. I had matedup my birds and havereareda round of youngsters. Theseyoungsters will be offered in the saleas they are around4 weeksage. I was particularlylooking forward to the comingseasonas I was breedingheavily aroundmy EUCLA SAHPA winner who hasprovedan outstandingstock hen, breedingpigeonswhich are in turn breedingwinnersfor a whole lot of flyers. N Kakoschkerecent lst SAHPA Boorabanis a grand-daughter andjust one of manytop birdsdown from the old hen. My son, Brian Donovan hasestablishedhimselfas a top flyer and this year Brian had lent me a family of the Delainepigeonsthat he obtainedfrom Alan Tyeman,who in turn had obtainedmost of the familythroughDennisRussellandJohnO'Donnell. Someof the stock birds havebeenreturnedto Brian but the youngstersfrom the matingsare in this sale. This Delainefamilyof birdshavebeenan instantsuccessfor Brian and I am surethey will provejust as successfulfor anyonewho obtainsthe bloodlines. Many a good flyer in the SAHPA oweshis successto this family of birds which canbe tracedback to the saleof CharlieDelainesloft in 1977. The family of birdsare predominantly, Blanden(KalgoorlieGirl line),Schumann, O'Conner,Stokoe. I am known to be a hardtaskmaster on the birds,I concentrate on the Eastline racing and I am particularlysevereon Cock Birds. You wont find manyCock birdsin this catologueas I am a true believerin only toleratingCocksthat are somewhatspecial. Cocksthat makeit to the stockcagehavehadto earntheir perch. I cull heavilyand hensthat are kept for racingas two and threeyearolds havebeenconsistentpigeons.
