These birds have been in quarantine from December 2016 until the sale dates due to the Rota Virus outbreak. My decision was to protect the birds from any harm. In doing so and the length of time to vaccinate against the Rota Virus I have made my race team redundant. My wife and I have been planning for a few years a change of scenery with retirement looming next year, so I need to clear the decks in our preparation for a probable move. These bloodlines have been developed by some of the best flyers on the East Coast of Australia and will add value I am sure.

I have had other race teams in the past that I could lose up to 30% to 50% on the day under those conditions. Around my loft the birds are under constant falcon attacks. I have had birds spend the night out but often they are back the next day or two. I believe this type of race pigeon gives you the opportunity to have extra birds on the perches to select from for the middle to longer distance races to help you compete throughout the full race season.
