Barnsley Hospital Charity’s amazing volunteers are at the heart of our efforts, dedicating their time and energy to support patients, families, and staff.

Their selflessness helps us improve healthcare experiences, raise vital funds, and bring comfort to those in need. We couldn’t achieve our goals without their incredible commitment!

Activitybook helpsoccupybrightyoungminds

Thanks to an idea by Charity Volunteer Diane Andrews, and the hard work of Fundraising Admin Assistant Kerrie Hyland, we’ve created a charity first.

A colouring and activity book specifically designed for our younger patients, Kerrie meticulously researched, designed, and produced the book, ensuring activities are engaging for children and young people.

The books will be available in all Children’s areas of the hospital for enjoyment by our little patients and for sale in the Charity Hub at £2.50 each with the proceeds of sales enabling us to continue to provide free books for our patients.

You can donate to support the project on Just Giving

Staff left the session determined to improve patient care, saying, “It was tougher than we ever imagined!”
