Welcome to the first annual Shiels Cattle Co. private treaty bull sale. Though our bull pen may not be high in numbers, we believe it is high in quality. Here at Shiels Cattle Co. we believe in low maintenance cattle that do not need to be primped and pampered. Alongside our purebred herd, we run a commercial herd that calves in April & May. With more of the commercial herds moving to spring calving, we understand firsthand what the commercial cattlemen want and need out of their bulls. We strive to raise bulls that we would be proud to walk in our pastures & servicing our cows; bulls that calve unassisted and calves that hit the ground running without sacrificing performance. This year’s bulls were raised without the use of creep feed. They were weaned September 9, 2022 and transisitioned onto hay and pail fed ground barley. The yearling bulls are not fed heavily, allowing them to grow and gain slowly, giving them added longevity for you, the customer. We are confident in our bulls and believe they will work and last numerous breeding seasons. Everyone is invited to come and view the bulls and walk through the cows whenever it is convenient for you. Videos of the bulls will be posted to our Facebook page (@Shiels Cattle Co.). • Free delivery on bulls delivered at our convenience prior to May 1, 2023 within a 250 km radius
• Bulls are able to stay after May 1, 2023 with no extra charge, but the bulls must be picked up at Shiels Cattle Co. and delivery will not be provided.
• Buyers are enccouraged to insure their purchase
• Shiels Cattle Co. will not be liable for loss or injury after purchase
