» Born in Gary, Indiana, raised in Los Angeles, California, and am the oldest of four children » Truly blessed to be married to Stan, my rock and partner for life who continues to inspire me to grow as a better person » A firm believer in people having the right to worship any dominion or religion but not allowing the views of others to affect my own » A UC Santa Cruz alum who strongly supports black feminist beliefs that race, gender and socioeconomic status are interconnected » A trustworthy, loyal friend who cherishes friendships and grateful to have a sister who is also my best-friend » A person who gets seasick and carsick, but loves amusement park rides that typically spin » An Audible book lover who enjoys listening to a good story during a long commute
